Pests/diseases: Disease pressure was
low due to dry weather. Spotted wing
drosophila and grapevine yellow disease
were confirmed. Southern diseases are
moving northward.
Supply/demand: A frost event in the Great
Lakes region caused crop loss, spurring
high demand due to a lack of winegrapes.
Prices were the same or higher due to demand, and yields were low due to frost.
Varieties: Top performers: Riesling,
Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc
