UNIFIED EXHIBITORS Unified to Explore World Market Dynamics T he ever-changing opportunities and challenges of the global wine industry will be one of the main topics of discussion during this year���s Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, to be held Jan. 29-31 at the Sacramento (Calif.) Convention Center. Experts from Australia, Chile and the United States will discuss the ebbs and flows of wine production and how they affect the U.S. wine and grape industry during a panel discussion Jan. 29. Nat DiBuduo, president of the Allied Grape Growers, Jon Fredrikson of Gomberg, Fredrikson & Associates, Charles Gill of Wine Metrics and Glenn Proctor with Ciatti Co. will offer their insights about the industry trends of 2013 during the keynote ���State of the Industry��� session Jan. 30. Other topics to be covered include foreign investment in wine, mechanization alternatives in the vineyard, removing solids prior to fermenting white wines and an update about consumer trends driving the industry. Unified will again bring vendors from all parts of the industry for North America���s largest trade show. Nearly 650 vendors exhibited their wares at last year���s show, which was attended by 12,400 people. Unified is a joint production of the American Society for Enology and Viticulture and California Association of Winegrape Growers.
