JSC is also involved with multi- ple industr y and academic re- search vineyards, donating funds, supplies, expertise and field time to help with trials aimed at indus- try improvements. The newest innovation at JSC is not in the steel factory this year, but in the software. The company installed a new proprietary inven- tory program in March 2014, and is excited about the new possibili- ties it can provide for JSC and its customers. "It may not sound exciting at first, but this software allows us to provide our valuable customers with more accurate and detailed information," says Drake. The new software allows JSC to: • Trace all manufactured parts back to their raw materials and sourcing; • Give more precise timing on materials and customer proj- ects; • Provide accountability to cus- tomers on the status of their orders and quality of the products and materials; • Give real-time production and delivery forecasts. Jim Boylan and his wife Doreen, founders of JSC, established an organization built on family com- mitment, teamwork, and ethics. Doreen, along with the current gen- eration of family, still step to the motto of "Hard work and a dream." They strive for employee satisfac- tion, education, safety and im- provement, all of which have fueled the company's successful expan- sion for more than 55 years. • SPECIAL ADVERTISING SECTION and a Dream WINE INDUSTRY SUppLIERS For more information, visit www.jimssupply.com, call 1.855.707.JIMS (5467), Calistoga 707.942.6020, Bakersfield 661.616.6977.
