Oregon Wine Services merges with Wineshipping Wine shipping, storage and transportation provider Oregon Wine Services in McMin- nville, Ore., announced its merger with Wine- shipping, a Napa, Calif.-based wine-shipping company. The merger creates one of the larg- est direct wine-shipping companies in the United States utilizing a network of tempera- ture-controlled distribution and storage facili- ties across the country. New hires at Vintage Nurseries Rick Burnes is the new senior vice president and general manager of Vintage Nurseries in Wasco, Calif. Burnes has worked in agricul- ture for more than 20 years. Enartis to distribute new Brett test Invisible Sentinel, based in Philadelphia, Pa., announced that Enartis and its U.S. subsid- iary, Enartis Vinquiry in Windsor, Calif., would be distributing its Veriflow Brett assay that tests for the presence of the yeast Brett- anomyces. Enartis will distribute the Veriflow device in California and other international markets. The Veriflow assay employs "mo- lecular flow-based technology" to provide a quick and accurate test for the presence of Brett. Nadalie hires new sales rep Kevin Andre is the new representative for Nadalie USA in Calistoga, Calif., serving Napa County from St. Helena to Yountville as well as Lodi, the Sierra Nevada foot- hills and British Colum- bia. Andre previously worked in sales for Saverglass and holds a master's degree in in- ternational trade and management. Granbury Solutions acquires eWinery Granbury Solutions in Grapevine, Texas, an- nounced it had acquired eWinery Solutions based in Napa, Calif. Granbury produces technology to support the wine, pizza, deliv- ery, specialty coffee and restaurant industries.
