Arista hires new winemaker CALI FO R N I A Frank Family Vineyards buys Wood Ranch Frank Family Vineyards purchased Wood Ranch Vineyard Estate, an 87-acre property with 70 acres of vines, in a deal announced in November. The Napa Valley vineyard is planted to Bordeaux varieties, plus Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Chardonnay. Details: frankfamily�� vineyards.com. Grove property from Saralee and Richard Kunde, who first planted the site in 1988. The property includes more than 200 planted acres including Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay vines.
