Faces& Forums NEWSMAKERS Busting Doors In Washington K ennewick, Wash.—Vicky Scharlau, executive director of the Washington Association of Wine Grape Grow- ers, said 2,124 people participated in the group's annual meeting Feb. 8-11. The symposium added an extra day, and the number of supplier exhibitors grew to 160. The event's fundraising auction and dinner drew bids of more than $80,000 for the Washington Wine Industry Foundation. The group honored Tedd Wildman of Stone Tree Vineyard as its Grower of the Year.
