As partner and co- owner, Tonnellerie du Monde plans to expand the Burgundian coo- perage's presence in France and international markets alongside Ludovic Tremeaux, who founded the cooperage in 2010. Parramon enters U.S. market Daryl Eklund has been named U.S. sales manager for Span- ish cork supplier Parramon as the company begins to serve the U.S. industry. Eklund will be based in Napa, Calif., and has more than 20 years of winemak- ing experience at several Napa Valley wineries and a decade of experience in cork sales. Par- ramon is located near Barcelona, Spain, and sells corks to more than 800 clients in 13 countries. New sales rep for Western Square Cody Ewers is the new Western Square barrel rack sales repre- sentative for California's Napa and Lake counties as well as the western portions of Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Ewers most recently was a sales repre- sentative for Seguin Moreau Napa Cooperage's Fine Northern Oak division. Before pursuing sales, Ewers worked in wine production at several wineries. Investment fund acquires Saverglass Global glass supplier Saverglass, which has an office in Napa, an- nounced it had been acquired by the Carlyle Investment Fund for 560 million euros. The deal allowed 300 of the company's employees to acquire a capital share in the company. Saver- glass current revenues come to 400 million euros, of which 50% are from exports to 80 countries from 17 subsidiaries. The com- pany operates four glassmaking plants (the newest opened in 2013 in the United Arab Emir- ates) and three decoration plants. Annual production has grown to 700 million bottles. New president at ColloPack Craig Richardson is the new president of ColloPack Solutions in Napa. Richardson will manage day- to-day operations of the winemak- ing equipment supplier. Richardson has been with ColloPack for 10 years and most recently was the vice president of technical sales. Before joining ColloPack, Richard- son worked in pharmaceutical pro- duction management. Avery Dennison hires VP of R&D Hassan Rmaile is the new global vice president of research and development for the labeling products supplier Avery Den- nison Corp. in Mentor, Ohio. Rmaile is joining Avery Dennison from St. Paul, Minn.-based H.B. Fuller Co., a global industrial ad- hesives manufacturer, where he served as vice president, chief technology and innovation of- ficer. Prior to joining H.B. Fuller, Rmaile held roles of increasing commercial and innovation lead- ership at Ashland Inc., a spe- cialty chemical company. Ingalls joins PakSource Adam Ingalls is a new account executive with wine packaging supplier PakSource in Sacra- mento, Calif. Ingalls will cover Napa and Sonoma counties in California as well as the rest of the San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Cruz Mountains.
