Crowe told Wines & Vines that lower alcohol wines already have caught on in New Zealand and the United Kingdom— so much so that they've carved out their own subcategory. "As we get closer to Unified I'll be reviewing the most current sales data I can find around this topic and will certainly mention it during the session," Crowe said. On Jan. 28, Charles "Chik" Brenneman of UC Davis will moderate the session Winemaking Game Changers: The Latest Tools and Techniques for Maximizing Quality and Efficiency. Brenneman will be called upon to share his knowledge once again Jan. 29, when he and another winemaking expert will lead groups of 20 to 25 on guided tours of the U N I F I E D P R E V I E W
