In business since 1976 using the current technology, Ray Carlson and Associates, Inc. can help by providing Surveys, GIS, Mapping, Historical Research and more. of operations. Before joining Tricor- Braun Winepak, Jewell worked for nine years in finance and opera- tions at Constellation Brands and, prior to that, worked in operation strategies for a Mexican brewery and glass plant. Heidi Cook has re- tired from her position as packag- ing consultant. Cook had spent 25 years in wine packaging and joined TricorBraun Winepak in 2008. New GM of Oeneo Nicolas Mähler-Besse is the new general manager of the Paris, France-based Oeneo Group wine- making division. Mähler-Besse pre- viously was the general manager of Seguin Moreau, and prior to that position worked in sales for the cooperage in France. In his new role, Mähler-Besse will continue to manage the development of Se- guin Moreau as well as direct the operational management of barrel alternative supplier Vivelys and Boisé France. Monvera labels honored Glass-decoration supplier Mon- vera Glass Décor in Napa, Calif., announced it received three awards at the 31st annual Pack- age Printing Excellence Awards in Philadelphia, Pa. The awards included Best in Show for a beer bottle label that featured shoul- der and neck printing on a glass bottle printed with a Fermac RUV machine with computer numerical control technology. According to Monvera, the two-color label was printed using five printing stations to facilitate the 360° wrapping around the shoulder and neck of the bottle. The same label also won first place in the screen- labels category, in which another label Monvera produced for Cool Fish Wines won third. The Cool Fish Wines label was produced using a four-color process screen- print with UV ink. LibDib hires VP of sales Liberation Distribution (LibDib), a web-based wholesale alcohol dis- tributor based in San Jose, Calif., announced it has hired Amanda Rehn as vice president of platform sales. Rehn previously worked at Big Basin Vineyards as national sales manager. Prior to that, Rehn was regional sales manager for Grandes Places Selections. Ac- cording to the statement released by the company, LibDib currently employs 15 full-time employees and plans to double that number in the next six to 12 months. Labeltronix wins award Labeltronix won first place in the wine and beer label category of the Package Printing Excellence Awards for a label the company created for Chateau Montelena Winery in Napa Valley. The award was the second win for the label, which also was honored for Ex- cellence in Flexography from the Flexographic Technical Associa- tion. The supplier reports judges noted the label for "its tonal range on the image, the use of tactile varnish as a complement to the flexographic printing and its lumi- nescent foil and sculptured em- bossing embellishments." CORRECTIONS A photo on page 25 of the Sep- tember 2017 issue of Wines & Vines incorrectly identified Tom Godfrey, who joined Cork Supply USA as operations manager. The item about Young's Market Co. on page 33 of the September 2017 issue was incorrect in saying that Young's is the sole member of the Top 10 U.S. Wine Distributors based on the West Coast. Dis- tributor No. 7, Wine Warehouse, is based in California. A table accompanying the article "Help for Gaining Entrée" in the September 2017 issue should have included the brand Educated Guess as a client of Vintage Point. The table also mislabeled Up- church Vineyard, which is based in Washington state and produces high-end Cabernet Sauvignon. Nicolas Mähler-Besse
