The company calls its model a "his- toric opportunity to put the luxury winemaker on higher quality course to meet the current cli- mate change challenge." Enologix already offers a model that wine- makers can use to make short- term (30-90 day) predictions and plans to offer growers long-term (five-year) advice for vineyard de- velopment in Napa Valley. enologix.com Specialty label printer Primera released the LX2000, a color label printer that the com- pany reports can produce labels up to 6 inches in size per second and is 25% faster than the com- pany's LX900 printer. The printer employs separate ink cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink. Other features include pigment-based inks, a built-in "pizza-wheel" cutter, viewing window to see label stock levels and Ethernet, USB or wireless connectivity. The machine can be fitted with two standard 750ml bottles, and an integrated computer scans the labels of each bottle and then dis- plays the label images on a full- color, 7-inch touchscreen that controls the dispenser.
