The Trimble UX5 has a wingspan of 39.4 inches and can operate for 50 minutes with a range of 37 miles. The cruise speed is 50 mph, and communication and control range is up to 3.1 miles. Price: $25,000. uas.trimble.com PRECISION HAWK Precision Hawk in Raleigh, N.C., produces the Lancaster fixed-wing unmanned aircraft. It has a 4-foot wingspan, 45-minute endurance, 25 mph speed, 2.3-pound payload, 12-mile com- munications range and can survey 300 acres. It has been used to map Hahn Estate Winery, home to 1,100 acres of grapes in California's Santa Lucia Highlands. Price: $15,000. precisionhawk.com DJI The DJI Phantom 4 Professional offers GPS autopilot software and a high-quality camera with integrated gimbal for camera stability and smooth footage. It has a 28-minute flight time, maximum control range of 3 miles and maximum speed of 44 miles per hour (mph). It is produced by DJI in the technological hub of Shen- zhen, China. Price: $1399. dji.com DJI Precision Hawk VINEVIEW SCIENTIFIC AERIAL IMAGING INC. SkySquirrel is working with VineView Tech- nologies in Napa Valley to adapt VineView's sensors and methods to drone-based systems that place the control of flight timing and frequency into the hands of the user. The SST drone system features fully calibrated scientific imaging equipment and customized data processing to provide the grower with precise, repeatable measurements for spe- cific crop issues.
