The first volume is titled "Viticulture and Wine Quality," and the second "Oenology and Wine Quality." The scope of the book can be seen by a summary of its contents. The breakdown Volume One is divided into three parts. Part One is intended to give an understanding of grape and wine sensory attributes and deals with topics such as wine aroma, taste, mouthfeel and color. Part Two deals with measuring grape and wine properties including the instrumental analysis of grape, must and wine, sensory analysis, wine authenticity and traceability. In Part Three, terroir, viticultural and vineyard management practices, fungal contaminants and grape-processing equipment are among the subjects covered.
