The monthly total is 7% higher than last year and raises the 12- month total by 13%. Including Meritage, Claret, GSM and other label designations for red blends, Wines Vines Analytics tracked 951 offers for the wine type in the past 12 months through October. This year's total offers for red blends is 46% more than the total during the same period ending October 2012. While offers overall have grown, the share of total offers by red blends increased from 12% in 2012 to 14% in 2015. Red blends now have the third largest share of all offers behind Cabernet Sauvignon, which accounts for a quarter, and Pinot Noir, which stands at 19%. Cabernet Sauvignon's domi- nance declined slightly with the rise of red blends.
