THE CHALLENgE
When the time came to move the wine production facility at Hunt Country Vineyards out of its home in an 1880s barn, Art
Hunt decided it would be most efficient to keep the various parts of the winery in close proximity. New structures were erected
on the same level to allow for easy transit of case goods using a forklift. Insulation, radiant flooring and geothermal heating
and cooling systems were installed to save energy at the Finger Lakes winery.
