Adagio wins governor's cup The Williamsburg Winery's 2010 Adagio red blend wine won the 2014 Virginia Wineries Association's Governor's Cup award. The wine is 42% Cabernet Franc, 30% Mer- lot, 28% Petite Verdot and aged in a combination of French, American and Hun- garian Oak with 43% new barrels. "The 2010 Adagio was unbelievable, exceeding all expectations for quality, and it was nice for Adagio to get that recognition," said Williamsburg Winery wine- maker and vice president Matthew Meyer.
