Two of Robert Mondavi's children regrouped after the Robert Mondavi Winery was sold to Constellation
Brands, and in 2005 purchased an existing vineyard property on Pritchard Hill in Napa Valley to start
again with an estate winery. Their challenge was to create world-class wines worth $175 per bottle by
improving the vineyards, building a new production facility and assembling a top-notch staff.
