Cabernet gained $1.25 per bottle for a new average price of $63.91, which represented 2% growth. Pinot Noir rose to an average bottle price of $41.97. Merlot and Chardonnay decreased by less than $1 each, but red blends dropped by $2.98 per bottle to $46.64. A year previously red blends had grown by more than $9 in average bottle price, so even after the recent drop they remained ahead of November 2011 by more than $5.
