The seal rings on the Yamada pumps feature a new carbon fiber fill that pro- vides more durability, and for pumps sized 1-3 inches the seals are now comprised of one piece of material to reduce air "blow- by" and increase air pressure efficiency. The supplier contends its air pumps are gentler than other pump mechanisms be- cause the fluid is discharged from the liquid chamber in a gentle manner that does not agitate the fluid itself, causing foaming.
