Noted food and wine critic dies One of the Midwest's most well-known wine writers, Joe Pollack, died March 9 at age 81. Pollack was a long-time food and wine critic with the St. Louis Post-Disptach newspaper, and in recent years he and his wife ran the blog St. Louis Eats and Drinks. EAST Mobile bottling service opens in Missouri Brent Baker opened Old Woolam Custom Bottling in Owensville, Mo., the first mo- bile bottling service in the state. Baker said he developed his system after researching other mobile operations in California and other winemaking regions.
