Flash Offers Up Slightly in June The Flash Report Complete flash data is available at winesandvines.com/flash METRICS 12 WINES&VINES August 2015 T otal offers by flash websites remained higher in 2015 compared to the previ- ous year. June's offers were slightly more than in 2014, and the 12-month total increased 6%. Last Call Wines had the most offers in June (85), and its offers came with one of the highest average discounts (51%). Following a special focus on flash website offers for Napa County wines in May, Wines Vines Analytics looked at the Sonoma County wines offered in June. The county accounted for 26% of the 6,381 total offers in the past 12 months. Nearly a third of the Sonoma County offers were priced between $15 and $19.99, and more than half were less than $20. Compared to Napa County, there were fewer offers for high-priced wines, with web- sites offering 144 wines priced more than $40 and just 13 for more than $100. Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir ac- counted for about 42% of all offers, with Cab- ernet numbering slightly more. Flash websites posted 248 offers for Chardonnay, the third most-offered varietal from Sonoma County.
