The system is comprised of a clip that fits on 13- and 14-gauge wires that hold the proper posi- tion for one to two "spaghetti"- style drip tubes to deliver water to a precise location or even above hillside vines using a 90° loop. The clip can be used in conjunction with a "compost pocket," which is a 2.5-gallon depression filled with organic compost or other amendments to foster plant growth and water retention. innergation.com Product News Latest offerings and announcements Bottle-dipping machine for wax finishes Emmeti USA released its new "Wax-On" machine to automate the bottle-dipping process for wax fin- ishes. The machine robotically dips bottles for a consistent application of wax with either a glossy or matte wax finish. Bottles enter through an infeed conveyor and are picked up by the machine that then dips the bottles. According to Emmeti, if a winery is using a pull tab as part of the wax finish, the machine will au- tomatically orient the bottles to the correct position. Bricks of wax are placed in a storage area of the ma- chine, which automatically feeds them into the wax tank as needed. Additional wax tanks can be added to the machine, which can operate as a stand-alone unit or as part of a fully automated bottling line. emmeti-spa.it
