Universal Packaging names new VP of sales and marketing Nicole Kaseberg was promoted to vice president of sales and mar- keting at Universal Packaging in Vernon, B.C. Kaseberg previously had been the company's director of sales and marketing. She was instrumental in the rebranding of Universal Packaging, according to CEO Steve Pelkey. IMI acquires SureHarvest Where Food Comes From Inc., IMI Global Inc., announced it is acquiring SureHarvest Inc. The transaction expands and diversi- fies WFCF's commodity reach with high-value specialty crops including wine grapes, almonds, hazelnuts, strawberries, mush- rooms, cut flowers, leafy greens and other produce. SureHarvest employs a range of sustainability and farming management solu- tions, certification, compliance management and professional services including its flagship Sustainability Management In- formation System. SureHarvest also brings five issued patents, eight 2016 patent allowances and three pending applications that provide broad coverage in the field of where food comes from and how it is produced in- cluding devices and systems to capture farm-level data, record chain of custody (traceability) and automatically certify and/or com- municate agricultural production and/or product information to consumers. SureHarvest, which is based in Soquel, Calif., and has offices in Modesto, Calif., has eight full-time employees who will continue to operate from their current locations. UP buys Railex facilities Union Pacific purchased Railex LLC's refrigerated and cold stor- age distribution facilities in Delano, Calif., Wallula, Wash., and Rot- terdam, N.Y. Railex offers refriger- ated rail transport services for food and other temperature-sensitive products including wine. Railex will continue to manage its centers through the transition and integra- tion with Union Pacific. Wells Fargo hires winery specialist Robin Wenzel joined the Wells Fargo North Coast Middle Mar- ket Banking team serving the Northern California counties of Sonoma, Marin, Mendocino, Hum- boldt and Napa. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Wenzel spent more than 12 years lending to wineries, growers and wine industry sup- pliers. Most recently, she worked for six years at Bank of the West, where she helped expand the bank's regional wine industry portfolio and managed the global wine portfolio shared with BNP Paribas. Wenzel will be based in Napa, Calif. New SVP at Graphic Packaging Joseph P. Yost is the new senior vice president and president of Americas for Graphic Packaging International. Yost has been with the Atlanta, Ga.-based company for nearly 30 years and now will be responsible for the food and bev- erage, commercial and converting organizations of the Americas. Tank Holding acquires new division Tank Holding Corp., which pro- duces Bonar Plastics brand bins, announced its acquisition of Agri Plastics' material handling divi- sion based in Ontario, Canada. The company manufactures bulk containers designed to transport a variety of materials and insulated containers designed to handle temperature-sensitive materials. Nicole Kaseberg
