Its RMAX helicopter has secured FAA Section 333 exemption and fed- eral approvals and now has Cali- fornia Department of Pesticide Regulation approval and county approvals to begin operations. It plans to work with vineyard man- agement companies in Napa and Sonoma, Calif. It can cover 12-14 acres per hour with 4-gallon liq- uid and 35-pound granular capac- ity. The RMAX can fly 10 feet above vines to deliver precise ap- plication down to the row. The device is remotely piloted and can travel at a spray speed of 8-12 mph even in gusty winds. Price: $86,000. yamahaprecisionagriculture.com Event 38 Unmanned Systems Inc.
