Brennan Vineyards, Lost Oak Winery and McPher- son Cellars funded the new venture situated on four acres. The wineries plan to feature their own wines for tasting as well as pro- duce wine under the 4.0 Cellars label. The location features tasting space and a special events venue. Details: fourpointwine.com 4.0 Cellars Winery set to open in Utah Doug McCombs is working to open a winery in the southern Utah town of Ce- dar City. He's purchased bulk wine and plans to release his own label as well as offer tastings at his Iron Gate Winery. McCombs says he hopes to open the winery in early June. Details: irongatewinery.com. Iron Gate Winery New winemaker at Mercer Estates Mercer Estates of Prosser, Wash., announced the hiring of Jessica Mun- nell as winemaker. DeLuca has worked in wine industry fi- nance for 10 years and will provide lend- ing and other banking services to middle- market companies with revenues of more than $25 million. Most recently, DeLuca served as a director at KeyBank's Capital Markets division in Cleveland, Ohio. Oak consultant launches service Jason Butler, a Napa Valley native, launched OAKinsight, an oak and barrel consulting company serving West Coast wineries. But- ler, a 20-year veteran of the cooperage in- dustry, plans to pro- vide cost-saving and educational programs to winemakers, cellarmasters, winery owners and tast- ing room staff.
