Flash Offers Drop for Second Month The Flash Report Complete flash data is available at winesandvines.com/flash METRICS 14 WINES&VINES February 2016 2 015 came to a comparatively quiet finish for wine flash sales, as the total number of offers for domestic wines declined for the second consecutive month. While Invino and Last Bottle both held special sales drives in December, the total number of offers was still 9% less than the same time last year. During December 2014, the website Wired for Wine held a big sales push that resulted in 110 offers for domestic wines. The website posted only 11 offers in December 2015. Invino and Last Bottle Wines combined for 407 offers, which was more than half of all offers in Decem- ber, but that wasn't enough to push the total higher than last year. Invino's 294 offers was a high for the website in 2015. For the second year in a row, Plata Wine Partners had the most wines offered for sale by flash websites. The share of private-label wines being sold through flash websites continues to grow.
