Border bootlegging costs Pa. billions The Commonwealth Foundation, Harris- burg, Pa., recently released a price-com- parison study showing that average wine prices were cheaper in all Pennsylvania border states and that bootlegging across state lines has cost billions in lost sales and tax revenue. The free-market think tank's month-long study concluded that wines cost an average of 20% less in Maryland to 3% less in New Jersey, with prices differing as much as 25% less for top-shelf wines in Ohio. Nissan Forklift lauded for low-emissions Nissan Forklift Corp., Marengo, Ill., earned California Air Resources Board certification for its 2012 large spark-ignited engines. Technicote promotes Thurston Technicote, Miamisburg, Ohio, promoted Lou Thurston to national sales manager. Thurston joined Technicote in 2010 as ter- ritory manager of the company's Kansas City sales territory, which includes Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.
