Aluminum bottles now legal in New York The Aluminum Association, Arlington, Va., announced the passage of a bill in the New York State Legislature that will permit the sale of aluminum bottles within the state. The bill, signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, reverses a little-known provision contained in the state's 1982 Bottle Bill that prohibits the sale of metal beverage containers that
