track of their work in ways that are unique, and
virtually everyone now keeps some digital records.
Furthermore, in the digital information age, government
regulations require that we keep records to support tax
payments, consumer protection information and statutory
information that prove a business is in compliance with
government regulations. Software developers have
created a wide range of choices to achieve those goals.
