Primera releases its fastest label printer Primera announced its new LX900 printer is the fastest and most economical color label printer on the market. The supplier reports the LX900 features high-resolution inkjet technology to print labels for wine bottles, boxes and other packaging. Labels can feature pho- tos, graphics, il- lustrations and high-resolution or two-dimen- sion barcodes. Print resolution is up to 4,800 dpi, and the unit can print full-color labels at up to 4.5 inches per second in draft mode. Details: primeralabel.com. DL-100 Black Box, pH data logger Milwaukee Instruments is callings its new DL-100 pH data logger one of the biggest innovations in pH analysis in 40 years. The new logger works with any manufac- turer's probe and meter or a controller that uses a standard BNC probe connection. The DL-100 also comes equipped with probe validation software to ensure a probe is accurate and a large LCD readout. Lights for vineyard work at night Solar LED innovations announced the re- lease of its new Solar Pod Lights for use in the field. The lights feature an all-inclusive solar power system that includes an energy storage battery and automatic LED lights that activate at night and turn off in the morning. Holoptica's new holoQR DNA-based security system and hologram manufacturer Holoptica announced a new concept in QR codes for brand protection, product recognition and document secu- rity applications. The new holoQR features a barcode embedded in the holographic image and provides on-the-spot verifica- tion of products.
