Rather than suggesting switching out the old family dog for a new puppy, we suggest winemakers look at the Oenotank with Esprit du Chêne inside as an alternate maturation program that may run nicely alongside, or in combination with, your traditional oak barrel program. Consider making 2014 the year you find out for yourself how good a wine can be made in an Oenotank with Esprit du Chêne. We have put together a great limited time trial offer for first time users. Contact us for further details! Designed specifically for wineries, the Oenotank has an airtight, wide mouth screw lid with a large opening, making the process of cleaning the tank extremely easy. Wineries use the Oenotank for storage, transport & blending, but the Oenotank has been engineered for a lot more - to replicate the positive effects of maturing wine in oak barrels. From the standpoint of passive micro-oxygenation, 12 months in an Oenotank is approximately equivalent to 5 months in a new barrel & 7 months in a neutral barrel. With or without our oak adjunct line, Esprit du Chêne, the winemaker will be able to deliver superior wines at a fraction of the cost of a traditional oak barrel program. Our hand selected Esprit du Chêne premium staves (literally translated, the spirit of oak) will elevate the oak aroma & flavor in your wine to a higher level. Roaming Gnome Enterprises has an exclusive arrangement with one of France's most experienced & well respected Oak Masters, who sources premium trees chosen out of the best French forests for Esprit du Chêne.
