Attendance record set

acramento, Calif.—Organizers of the
Unified Wine & Grape Symposium
said 14,000 people attended the
event held in late January, beating the pre-
vious year's attendance by 600.
"An enormous amount of business is
done at the show and during the many
networking events," said John Aguirre,
president of the California Association of
Winegrape Growers, which co-sponsors the
symposium and trade show with the Ameri-
can Society for Enology and Viticulture.
