In addition to the new digital press in Fullerton, the company realigned its West Coast operations by adding digital capacity at its facility in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Modern Cooperage announces distributor Modern Cooperage announced that Metro Label is now the company's exclusive West Coast distributor, covering California, Oregon, Washington and Canada. The company produces a patented stainless-steel barrel that features removable oak staves and an internal lees-stirring system. CORRECTIONS The Generation 7 barrel is being brought to the North American market by Esprit de Dryades and not Tonnellerie Vicard. This information was incorrect in an article on page 48 of the December 2013 issue of Wines & Vines. Lyndie Boulton's name was spelled incorrectly in the Unified Symposium Sessions Preview Issue of Wines & Vines. Boulton is the executive director of the American Society for Enology and Viticulture, which runs the Unified Symposium in conjunction with the California Association of Winegrape Growers. Diam announces North American export manager Closure manufacturer Diam announced that Francois Margot is the new export manager for North America. Margot already works as export manager for China and Francois Margot Japan. Margot will be living in California to better serve the wine industry. Saxco appoints senior VP/GM Jerry Goldner is the new senior vice president and general manager of the eastern region and Canada for Saxco International LLC, based in Horsham, Pa. G3 Enterprises wins label awards The label division of G3 Enterprises earned two awards at the annual Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute Convention in San Antonio, Texas. G3, which is based in Modesto, Calif., took first place in the Flexography Wine and Spirits category for the E. & J.
