PACKAGING SPECIAL ADVERTISING SECTION SYNTEK ZI MAS DE LA GARRIGUE SUD | 66 600 RIVESALTES FRANCE SYNTEK closures meet the needs of evolving winemaking worldwide SYNTEK, the world's second largest producer of synthetic closures and the leader in France, has expanded products and technology to meet the quality expectations of today's winemakers. The French company merged the resources of Corktek, and then bought Australian closure company NuKorc and transported it – equipment, technology, patented closures and all—to the Mediterranean region of France, building a new 13,000-square-foot headquarters in Rivesaltes. SYNTEK injection was brought into the plant in 2010 so that injection closures and mono-extruded closures are now all made or sold from the same facility. With 50 employees, 8 extrusion lines and 6 injection molding lines, SYNTEK can produce a billion closures per year, and also has 10 offset printers for generic and brandspecific printing, branding, logo, and inhouse art design for its clients. SYNTEK in-house laboratory puts raw materials and finished closures through a rigorous panel of tests.
