Winesecrets honored for hiring veterans The California Employee Advisory Council awarded Winesecrets of Sebastopol, Calif., with its Veteran Employer of the Year award for the small business category. Since January 2011 the firm has hired seven veterans, five of whom were discharged from the service within the past five years. Winesecrets still employs four of the veterans, while two have advanced to positions at wineries in the area.
