New pH meter needs little maintenance Senova Systems Inc. says its new pHit Scanner pH meter doesn���t need to be calibrated by the user, doesn���t employ fragile glass probes and can be stored dry. The company���s new probe has a range of 2-12 pH, a pH unit resolution of 0.01 and an integrated temperature range of 5��-50��C. In addition to the base sensor, the company also has a ���micro��� version for taking measurements of small samples and a sensor at the end of a flexible tube to measure the pH of samples in hard-to-reach areas.
