A Aimee and Todd Henkle purchased Lost Creek Vineyards and Winery in Leesburg, Va., for $2.3 million, according to a statement by the local office of economic development. The property includes 50 acres of land with 21 acres of grapes, the 7,000-case winery, hospitality areas and a 5,000-squarefoot home. The Henkles have retained the services of wine consultant Sebastien Marquet and plan to expand Lost Creek���s estate varietals to include Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Petit Verdot, in addition to offering more traditional Burgundy and Bordeaux winemaking styles.
